Questions
Everything you
might ask.
No wellness jargon, no hedging. If your question is not here, email us and we will answer it properly — and probably add it to this page.
The basics
Café-style iced coffee in a portable plastic flask, with something useful added — collagen, whey, plant protein, or nothing at all if you go decaf. You get it in one of two formats: pre-mixed and frozen, or a powder you top up with cold water.
Pre-mixed frozen arrives already made and frozen solid. You defrost it, shake it and drink it. The powder format has the coffee, the milk powder and the function already portioned in the flask — you add cold water, shake for about ten seconds, and it becomes an iced latte. Same drink, two different kinds of convenience.
If you have freezer space and like the idea of grabbing something already made, start with pre-mixed. If you travel, keep odd hours, or want something that lives in a desk drawer, start with the powder. The Everyday Duo bundle has one of each so you can decide without guessing.
No. The flask is the shaker. Everything you need is either already inside it or, in the case of the powder, is cold tap water.
The plastic flask and aluminium lid are designed to be kept, washed and reused — for water, for a smoothie, for whatever you like. The flask is recyclable when you are finally done with it, and the paper label and band peel off for recycling too.
Making it
Overnight in the fridge is the easy way. On a warm counter it takes roughly two to three hours. If you are in a rush, stand it in a bowl of cool water for about twenty minutes and shake as soon as it moves freely.
Fill to the line marked on the flask — that makes 350 ml, a standard café serving. Less water makes it stronger and creamier; more makes it lighter. There is no wrong answer.
Cold water is what the powder is built for, and it dissolves properly in it. Hot water works in a pinch but you lose some of the texture. Either way, it is designed to be drunk cold over ice.
Not required. It is cold enough as it is. If you like a longer, colder drink, pour it over ice in a glass.
We would rather you did not. Once it has thawed, keep it in the fridge and enjoy it within 24 hours.
Ingredients and function
Roughly what you would get in a single-shot café latte. The decaf option uses Swiss-water decaffeinated coffee, which removes almost all of the caffeine without solvents.
No. There is a small amount of cane sugar to round the coffee out, the way a café would. Vanilla and Mocha taste a little sweeter because of the flavour, not because there is more sugar.
Coffee + Plant Protein is made with a plant-based milk and a plant protein blend. The collagen, whey and decaf options all contain dairy. Every flask lists its full ingredients on the label.
The collagen peptides in Coffee + Collagen are the kind usually associated with skin, hair and nails. Type II collagen, in Coffee + Collagen II, is the kind associated with joints and cartilage. Pick whichever matches what you care about.
Neither. It is coffee that happens to carry something useful. It is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure anything, and it is not a substitute for meals or medical advice. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or managing a health condition, have a word with your doctor first.
Depending on the option: milk, soya and tree nuts may be present. Full allergen information is printed on every label, and we are happy to send you the detail before you order — just ask.
Orders and delivery

Across South Africa. Because the pre-mixed format ships frozen, it goes out in insulated packaging on a cold chain, which means delivery windows for that format are tighter than for the powder.
Yes, and it is the cheaper and simpler option. Powder flasks ship as ordinary parcels anywhere we deliver.
Not yet — a subscribe-and-save option is on the way. Join our mailing list at the bottom of the home page and you will hear about it first.
Yes — that is a real part of what we do. Send us an enquiry from the Hospitality page with your venue and rough volumes and we will come back with trade pricing.
One more thing
We would rather over-explain than oversell.
Everything we put on the flask is on the site too. If you want the detail behind a claim, ask us — we will send you the label.
